Our philosophy is that wolves should not be bred and sold and it should be illegal to do so, unless for the purpose of research based reintroduction/repopulation. Until it is illegal to breed and sell wolves, we will do our best to provide the best life possible for those we’re able to rescue.

Also, Big Oak Wolf Sanctuary is a true, "legitimate" exotic animal sanctuary in that we do not exhibit the rescued wolves or subject them to the health destroying life of enduring public tours for a fee.
