Favorite aspect of the sanctuary: The obvious affection John, Debbie and all of the volunteers have for the wolves and visa versa. I love the interaction and week to week changes in the wolves’ personalities.

Favorite wolf and why: Micah! I’ve watched him grow physically and socially for 16 months. He is a magnificent, regal animal who loves Happy Heart perfume (which I ALWAYS wear just for him).

Your role here: My main objective is to socialize with as many of the wolves as possible each week to gain their trust.  I am also a monthly financial contributor.

What being part of this unique mission means to you: I began volunteering when there were only 18 wolves, and I have watched the sanctuary grow in number and amenities for all of the wolves.   My weekly visits help to fulfill my yearning to help all animals that are in need of love and caring.  It is a true gift to be trusted and accepted by them.
